It all begins with an idea.

Inspired by the latest wave of virtual reality displays in 2013, our team sought to design and build a flight simulator as our mechanical engineering senior project at the University of Central Florida.

The recognition and support from faculty and local industry professional within the amusement and military training industries helped validate the need for compact and immersive simulations. Talon launched shortly after with funding from university sponsored business competitions and the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps Program.

Brandon Naids

CEO/Co-Founder

Naids got his start studying mechanical engineering at the University of Central Florida where he obtained industry experience through engineering internships with United Space Alliance and Universal Orlando Resort, acting as project manager on large-scale design changes. Talon grew out of the senior design project Naids collaborated on during his final year in his undergraduate studies where him and his team developed a prototype virtual reality flight simulator.

Jordan Griffin

CTO/Co-Founder

Jordan acts as Chief Technology Officer and comes from a family of engineers and business owners.  He started working for his father's mechanical contracting company, B&I Contractors, and his grandfather's manufacturing & fabrication facility, Bob Dean Supply, during high school. Through college, Jordan worked for Indoor Air Professionals, a small test & balance company. He also worked at the Texas Instruments Innovation Lab at the University of Central Florida during the lab's first year on campus. Jordan has received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.

 

William Eric Resto

Director of Operations

Eric is an avid gamer and technology enthusiast who brings his passion for gaming and simulation to deliver our customers the best virtual solutions possible. With experience with network systems, various virtual reality head mounted displays, and customer service, he oversees all aspects of our projects from the assembly & testing, all the way to maintenance and support.

Trey Keeley

Director of Business Development

Trey is an experienced Sales Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Skilled in Negotiation, Operations Management, Sales, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Team Building. He is a strong sales professional with a BA focused in International Business from Northwood University.

General Steve Seay

Chief Advisor

Brigadier General Stephen M. Seay is the teams Chief Advisor and has over 40 years of direct senior-level leadership and command in operations, training, high technology research, development, program management, life cycle maintenance, as well as integration of sophisticated high technology systems. Since leaving active military service in September 2005, Steve has incorporated Seay Business Solutions, LLC, a Florida Small Business and his company focus is facilitating realistic mission training at the point of need.
